Well then get your ass over to the Barnes & Noble in Tukwila, WA tomorrow afternoon between 1 and 4 PM. I’ll be playing games, doing scavenger hunts and signing books (maybe even some of my own) with Jessa Slade (Seduced by Shadows), Gayle Ann Williams (Tsunami Blue) and the elusive Harry Connolly (Child of Fire). I can’t guarantee murder and mayhem, but I’m sure as shit going to try to set a few fires!
Seriously. There’s been a noticeable absence of urban fantasy fans at events lately.
Y’all bitches are getting lazy. Just sayin’.
You need to get the crew to come to Greensburg Pennsylvania! At least that’s where I’m at. It’s hard to get to see you all. Hope to see all of you at sometime.
I’d love to, but until I sell something new, or people turn the Amanda books into a huge cult hit, instead of an underground secret (very hush hush), it’s not likely.
Okay, I guess I am going to have to work on that for you… Maybe we can create more underground cults so they buy them up. We’ll have to get everyone talking about the books more. What kind of buzz or scandal can we create to catch the eyes? Hmmm….
Well….I went to the four way at University Bookstore (with JS, JW and CD) and I bought BOOKS. To go to other events (even though Tukwila is much closer to me than UBS, and ditto for your fellow Leauger’s Cherie Priest’s gig in Tacoma) in a short period of time would be weird and stalkerish, and nobody wants to be weird and stalkerish. Except stalkers. And that might require weaponry or special freak clothing that I wouldn’t wear even if I were a zombie….
Well. Those kinds of things cost money, sadly. My publisher doesn’t provide those for me and until I sell another book, I’m out of promo stuff. Sorry.
