So it’s official. We has a book. Battle of the Network zombies was accepted for publication on Monday (that means my editor was happy enough with the book that he’s confident the copy edit is all it’ll take to polish it up). Hello? Excited.

Anyways, so I’m moving on to working on the screenplay and YA proposal and juggling my friend’s author events, my own signings, conferences, airfare, promo…aaaaaaahhhh!

One of the things I always do when I finish a book–have I ever mentioned I always forget to write “The end”–is make a fake cover for it and then have it bound for my friends and family to pass around. So I’m busy this morning hunting for a cover image to manipulate/mutilate

But later I’ll be up in Seattle for Caitlin Kittredge’s reading and signing at the University Bookstore at 7PM and then tomorrow, I’ll be in exactly the same place for Lisa Mantchev’s launch event. Congratulations to Lisa on Eyes Like Stars going back to press. One week!
