…just because I can’t quit showing my age. If this were Saturday, I’d have called the post Night Flight (remember that from the USA network?). You could be watching a video and then all of a sudden Breaking Glass would be playing. Hmm. Anyways. If this were the actual Friday Night Videos, you’d be witness to a full range of Police videos, particularly Synchronicity–they played that shit every week. EVERY WEEK.

Anyway, here’s a couple I found this week.

First up is Cortney Tidwell, who I’d never heard of and she bounced up on some search or other. Her voice kinda reminds me of those 4AD bands that happened after Cocteau Twins left. His Name Is Alive. Cranes. Only more aggressive maybe.

Here’s Lali Puna. They’ve gotta have the best band name ever, unless I’m pronouncing it wrong. Lolly Poona, right? Perfect…
