It’s been a busy weekend here at Casa Starvation, more moving was accomplished, replaced one of those above-stove microwave/vent combos for a friend (cuz I’m handy like that), narrowly escaped the horrors of the Sunday Walmart Grocery juggernaut and watched the SAG awards over some awesome chicken mole (which is a delicious Mexican dish and not a chicken that burrows under the dirt, or one that grows from my chin, or any other body area). And so I’m kind of tired this morning and relieved to be alone with the dogs and get some work done.

Speaking of Dogs, and I’m not normally one to point out animal abuses or pimp charities and such, but there were a number of puppy mill raids here in Western Washington this weekend. 600 dogs mostly toy varieties have flooded local animal shelters. The worst part? 80% are pregnant. Reports say upwards of 1500 puppies are on their way. Despite having three woefully untrained monsters ourselves, we put in our names to adopt. We’ve also been putting together boxes of towels and stuff. But what you can do is send some money. Anything will help. Do you really need that 1100 calorie whopper meal?
